Getting tired of this modded controller bullshit and until CCP nerfs the ROF on the Scrambler rifle to something not absurd they are going to continue to wreck us. Saw jon aloha using it today and he wasn't even overheating, not sure how he's managing that. Do I have to fill it out through the game or is there a website thing CCP uses?
Edit: He probably was just letting off the trigger but seriously CCP drop the ROF to 500 like the Tactical AR. I don't get how you guys can a year ago nerf the ROF on the Tactical for the very same reason and not do the same to the scrambler. Its like they don't even know what is in their game.
Sorry that I name, dropped but I'm tired of people making the excuse that "It must of been the Cro-9" or something no I saw what gun killed me thank you very much, or "I've never seen it" if you play against that guy you will see it. Hell for insult to injury he even used the std scrambler rifle. "He must of pulled the trigger real fast!" Like I said if you end up in a game with this guy watch him and listen to his gun. It fires at the frequency of a Cro-9 but packs more than double the damage.
My friend had a SNES controller in the 90s with a turbo switch this isn't new ******* tech and was definitely forseeable. No single shot weapon should have RPMs that are unachievable by humans.
700 RPM... 11.6 trigger pulls in a second... |

Hell for insult to injury he even used the std scrambler rifle. "He must of pulled the trigger real fast!" Like I said if you end up in a game with this guy watch him and listen to his gun. It fires at near the frequency of a Cro-9 but packs more than double the damage.

700 RPM... 11.6 trigger pulls in a second... the world record is 16 in a second but if you watch the guy he does it with a button in a way that would be awkward to do in a fps game given he sets his hand up in a way that would prevent him from being able to use the right analog stick to aim or move which turbo controllers let players just hold the trigger down for max RPM.
Honestly though its not even about how fast someone can pull the trigger, a weapon that does 70+ damage a shot should not have such high RPM.
On a side note, is their even a point to reporting these things? From what I understand of CCP, they usually like to give out medals to people exploiting their bad programming, which seems like a good idea for bug fixing, but then they never fix the bugs. its CRD-9 not Cro-9, and the CRD- 9 is an assault, thus fully auto as is the Carthum
thanks, I have the gun, i was just thinking of it off the top of my head... The font is pretty iffy on that and since it's a random set of letters, it was an easy mistake. Did you actually read the post or were you just grammar ****'ing? The point was it definitely wasn't an assault variant.
As to some people calling for proof, yeah let me just go find that motion capture of spyware I have on everyone elses ps3s /sarcasm. Really the point is that turbo controllers are a problem for the scrambler just like they were a problem for the Tactical AR before it got nerfed, yet somehow the scrambler remained un-nerfed although it suffers the same exploit because reasons...
I was asking for a report option for the very reason that I can't "Prove it" but CCP might be able to look at the server data and see if the player was inputting at maximum capacity, which is highly suspicious for turbo usage. |
